Care That Supports Your Body, Not Just Your Symptoms
Each service at Cork & Bamboo Wellness is designed to meet your body with intention. Whether you are seeking relief from chronic tension, improved mobility, or a deeper sense of connection within your body, your session is guided by what you need in that moment—and what will support you over time.
Warm Bamboo Massage
Signature ServiceWarm Bamboo Massage is the foundation of Leisa’s work, blending hands-on techniques with heated bamboo tools to deliver sustained, targeted pressure while remaining supportive to the nervous system.
Each session is thoughtfully customized to your body and goals, blending therapeutic bodywork with the warmth and versatility of bamboo tools to create a deeply restorative experience. A wide variety of enhancements are also available, including Eco-Fin hand and foot treatments, red light therapy, hot oil pouring, and CBD products from High 324, along with many other options designed to further support relaxation, recovery, and overall wellbeing.
The warmth and structure of the bamboo allow for deeper, more intentional work through areas of tension while maintaining a sense of flow and ease throughout the body, often creating relief that feels more complete and lasting.
Every element of the session is guided by your comfort, your goals, and what your body is asking for in that moment.
Intraoral work may be incorporated into a Warm Bamboo Massage session when appropriate. However, if you are seeking more focused, in-depth work dedicated specifically to the face, jaw, neck, chest, and scalp — including intraoral work, optional hot oil pouring, and an Eco-Fin hand treatment — please select Clinical Bamboo TMJ Massage.

What to Know Before Your Warm Bamboo Massage Session
-
Bamboo tools allow for deeper, more sustained pressure while still feeling fluid and supportive. This creates a balance between therapeutic depth and nervous system ease.
-
This work is especially supportive for chronic tension in the neck, shoulders, hips, and jaw, as well as overall muscle tightness and limited mobility.
-
Sessions are guided by your comfort. Pressure and techniques are adjusted in real time to ensure your body feels supported, not overwhelmed.
-
Each session is thoughtfully tailored to your body and may include a combination of hands-on work, heated bamboo tools, and supportive enhancements based on what will best serve you that day.
This can include elements such as facial cupping, red light therapy, or a warm bamboo scalp treatment with hot oil to support relaxation and circulation. For muscle relief, options like magnesium lotion, targeted tools, or CBD-infused products may be incorporated.
Your session may also include grounding or restorative touches such as steam eye masks, dry brushing, or warm hand and foot treatments. In some cases, contrast techniques like cryo bamboo or exfoliating treatments such as a back or foot scrub may be used to further support circulation and renewal.
Every element is selected with intention, ensuring your experience feels cohesive, supportive, and aligned with what your body needs in that moment.
A Natural Extension of Your Care
For clients who have experienced the benefits of Warm Bamboo Massage and are looking for more focused support, Clinical Bamboo TMJ Massage offers a natural next step.
This treatment builds on the same intentional, therapeutic approach while bringing attention to the face, jaw, and neck, areas where tension is often held but less frequently addressed.
If you are specifically seeking intra-oral work or enhancements such as hot oil scalp pouring, this service is the most supportive way to receive that level of focused care.
It is especially beneficial for those experiencing clenching, TMJ discomfort, or patterns of tension that extend into the upper body.
Clinical Bamboo TMJ Massage
Targeted care for the face, jaw, and nervous systemClinical Bamboo TMJ Massage takes a whole-body approach to jaw pain and dysfunction. Each treatment includes work to the feet, gluteals and hips, back, pectoral muscles, anterior and posterior neck, face, jaw, and inside the mouth through gloved intraoral work. This approach considers the continuity of fascia throughout the body and how connected fascial and muscular tension patterns may relate to the TMJ rather than treating the jaw as an isolated area.
Treatment combines Leisa’s advanced TMJ training with her advanced clinical training in bamboo massage, incorporating heated bamboo work throughout the body and face, light lymphatic work for the head, face, and neck, and gloved intraoral work. The soothing warmth of the bamboo feels deeply relaxing while helping tight, guarded muscles soften beneath the steady pressure. This allows the treatment to feel nurturing while still providing focused attention to the primary muscles of mastication: the masseter, temporalis, medial pterygoid, and lateral pterygoid region. Intraoral work reaches areas of jaw tension that cannot be accessed as directly from outside the mouth, creating a more complete feeling of release throughout the jaw, face, and surrounding tissues. Many clients have described their face as feeling “lighter” and less heavy by the end of the session.
Your first appointment includes a thorough review of your intake and a conversation about your history, symptoms, and goals before hands-on treatment begins. Follow-up appointments generally allow more time for treatment unless new symptoms or changes in your health require additional discussion or assessment.

What to Know Before Your Session
