A Practice That Listens to the Body
Where therapeutic bodywork meets functional, restorative movement.
Where Experience Meets Intention
For over 17 years, I have supported people in moving, feeling, and living more comfortably in their bodies. What began as a traditional therapeutic massage practice has gradually evolved into something more integrative, more intentional, and more responsive to what the body is truly asking for.
As a Licensed Massage Therapist and Registered Yoga Teacher, my work reflects years of observation, continued education, and time spent listening closely to the patterns that show up again and again. Chronic tension, limited mobility, postural imbalance, joint restriction, and nervous system fatigue are rarely isolated experiences. They are layered, interconnected, and often require a more thoughtful approach to care.
This understanding has shaped everything about how I practice today.
An Approach Shaped by What the Body Reveals
My continuing education has always been guided by the people I work with. By what I see, what I feel, and what the body reveals over time.
Warm bamboo therapy became a natural focus as I began looking for ways to work more deeply and intentionally without overwhelming the nervous system. Over time, it became clear that this approach allowed for sustained pressure, precision, and a sense of ease within deeper layers of tissue.
As my work evolved, I began to notice that many patterns extended beyond muscle alone. They lived within connective tissue, movement habits, and the nervous system itself. This led me to expand my training into Thai bodywork, where assisted stretching and joint mobilization introduced a more movement-based approach to care.
From there, my path continued into Yin-based yoga, with its focus on connective tissue — including the fascia, joints, and ligaments — and the slower systems that support long-term balance and resilience.
Each layer of education has not replaced the last, but instead deepened it. What has developed over time is an integrated way of working that is both grounded and adaptable.
More recently, this progression has evolved into advanced work focused on the face, jaw, neck, and scalp, incorporating externally applied warm bamboo techniques alongside intraoral work performed with gloved hands. These areas often hold significant tension and are frequently overlooked, yet they can play a central role in how the body experiences stress, restriction, and release.
Care That Meets You Where You Are
Every session at Cork & Bamboo Wellness is shaped around the individual.
Rather than following a fixed routine, I work with what your body is presenting in the moment. For some, that may mean deeper muscular work. For others, it may involve joint mobility, fascial support, or creating space for the nervous system to settle.
Often, it is a combination of all three.
By integrating therapeutic massage, warm bamboo tools, assisted stretching, and restorative movement, I am able to meet your body where it is and support it in moving toward greater ease, awareness, and balance.
This is not a one size fits all experience. It is care that is responsive, intentional, and built over time.
A Space That Welcomes You Fully
Cork & Bamboo Wellness is an inclusive and welcoming space for all.
This includes people of all abilities, identities, and backgrounds. My goal is to create an environment where you feel supported, respected, and able to show up as you are. Your body and your experience are honored here.

Growing Into Something Greater
This practice continues to grow and evolve.
There is a long term vision to expand Cork & Bamboo Wellness into a shared space that supports both individual healing and community connection. A space where other woman owned wellness businesses can grow alongside one another, collaborate, and serve their communities in aligned and meaningful ways.
If you are building something within the wellness space and feel aligned with this vision, you are warmly invited to reach out and connect.
The Life That Supports the Work
When I am not working with clients, you will often find me in movement or in nature. I enjoy practicing yoga, spending time outdoors, golfing in the warmer months, and being with family.
I also continue to study, refine, and expand my work. Everything I learn is in service of the care I provide and the people I support.
An Invitation to Begin
Whether you’re seeking relief from pain, more freedom in your movement, or simply a space to slow down and reconnect with your body, you are welcome here.
